Hunter S. Thompson:

Dr. Thompson was a genius and his contributions to journalism and popular culture are immense. He is an inspiration to me as a writer to be true to myself and my beliefs, and he adhered to those qualities until his death. He spoke the truth, and that is beautiful. He exposed many people to the concept of several parallel dimensions existing alongside our own.
